Despite the 10th anniversary of Bitcoin, it does not look good to look at the trade volumes of different coins. In October, many cryptocurrencies traded at a lower level than ever before this year.
Trading volume reaches rock bottom
Over the past 30 days, approximately $109.5 billion has been exchanged in the form of bitcoin. A month earlier, that figure was $124.3 billion. As a result, Bitcoin’s trading volume has fallen by 11.9 percent, reaching its lowest level this year.
Ether (ETH) and EOS
In addition, $ 53.8 billion was traded last month in ether (ETH). In October, this number fell 30 percent to 41.2 billion. The trading volume for the EOS currency also fell by 30 percent. In the previous month, about 20 billion US dollars were sent in the currency. In October, however, the trade volume was only $ 13.94 billion, although the Coin battled back to 4th place in the most traded cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC)
Ranked 6 and 7 of the most traded coins are Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC). Trading volume at BCH fell 26 percent to $ 9.5 billion. At Litecoin, on the other hand, trading volume only fell by 4.8 percent. In October, the value of traded coins was $ 9.14 billion.
